Shipping & Returns Shipping Policy KLJ will have your product shipped to you by the best method available for your specific needs. You may have the option of next day, second day, third day, or ground shipping. Shipping charges are automatically calculated for you when placing an order. Total shipping charges are calculated based on the total weight and size or price of the items in an order. We reserve the right to ship any alternative way that meets or exceeds the customer's delivery needs. Handling charges and/or energy surcharges may vary from manufacturer to manufacturer. Shipments of products from multiple manufacturers will be shipped separately. **Please Note: Due to shipper restrictions we cannot deliver to P.O. Boxes. All shipments are subject to stock availability. According to Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover regulations, KLJ is not allowed to ship product/s to an address that is not on file with the credit card holder's bank. This address can be either the customer's billing address or an authorized ship-to address. It is the customer's responsibility to call and add alternate shipping addresses with their credit card company. WE recommend this being done before placing the order if the customer has any doubt about this. Orders that do not fill this requirement will delay or will not ship. *Note: An order is considered shipped as soon as it is verified that the product is in stock and the order has been processed. A shipped order is subject to all the return policies laid out below. There will be a charge of $25.00 to your account for any shipment that is refused, along with ordinary return policy and shipping costs, including original shipping cost incurred by KLJ. Ground Shipping FedEx Ground shipping takes approximately 5-7 business days to receive. FedEx Ground shipping is available to the 48 Continental United States only. Alaska and Hawaii orders cannot be shipped ground. Truck Freight Truck freight applies to any oversized item that cannot be shipped by FedEx. In the event that your item is deemed oversized, we will contact you via e-mail with an approximate shipping estimate. Please allow 24 hours for your order to process. Orders placed by noon Eastern Time usually ship the same day but we cannot guarantee that an order will ship the same day it is placed. Orders do not ship on weekends. Customer is responsible for ensuring that UPS and/or any other carrier used can deliver to specified shipping address. ** For orders on crate engines and transmissions, please specify whether the order will be shipped to your closest Fedex terminal or automotive shop or commercial address. Shipping to these locations is free. If not, you will be charged $300.00 for a residential shipment. If you believe the shipping cost on your order is not being calculated correctly, please let us know before you submit the order. If our database contains an incorrect weight for a part, or there is some other problem with our system, we will fix it promptly.
Return Policy Within 21 business days of placing your order from KLJ you may return any core or wrong part(s). No returns will be accepted after 30 business days. All parts must be in their original condition, and cannot be disassembled or damaged by incorrect installation. We are not responsible for installation errors. We are not responsible for any labor expenses, towing expenses.
**Please Note: No returns will be accepted on "Special Order" and/or "Made-to-Order" items. All Supercharger Kits are special order and may not be returned for any reason. No returns will be accepted on products that have been used, installed, or altered from their original condition. Service manuals, CD ROMs, Special-order Products, and Auto Body Parts are not returnable for any reason. Electrical parts are not returnable if plugged in or unsealed for any reason. ** Returned orders are subject to restocking fees of up to 25 percent, based on manufacturer return policies. A 15% restocking fee is charged on all returns that are not the direct result of our error. To return or exchange a part that is unused, uninstalled, in resalable condition, and is in original undamaged packaging, you must call our Customer Service at 888-usm-racer or email customer_service@usmracer.com within 30 days of receiving the item to generate a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. No packages will be accepted without a RMA number clearly visible. Failure to notify us within 30 days will forfeit your right to a refund or an exchange. For faster service, please have the following information on hand when calling for an RMA number: customer name, invoice number, part number and nature of the problem. All products returned MUST be 100 percent complete, contain ALL original boxes and packing materials, original UPC codes on the manufacturer boxes, all manuals, blank warranty cards and other accessories and documentation provided by the manufacturer. Tuners that do not contain the full tuning programs will not be refundable. All tuning on the vehicle must be removed, returning vehicle to stock programming. Customer is responsible for shipping charges on returned items. If product is refused, customer is responsible for all shipping charges to and from destination that KLJ has incurred. We strongly recommend that you fully insure your return shipment in case it is lost or damaged and you use a carrier that can provide you with proof of delivery for your protection. Please don't paint the part, install the part or throw away the box until you're sure the part you have is the part you need! Please do not write on or alter the box in any way. We cannot issue return credit for parts which have been installed, painted, modified or returned without their original packaging. If merchandise arrives damaged, save the merchandise and the original packaging. Notify us immediately to arrange for a carrier inspection and a pickup of damaged merchandise. DEFECTIVE returns are to be sent directly to the manufacturer for replacement or repair under the manufacturer's warranty policies. Manufacturer restrictions do apply and any item that is missing the UPC can only be replaced with the same item. NON-DEFECTIVE returns can be accepted directly by USM within 30 days from the invoice date, at our discretion for credit, exchange. All NON-DEFECTIVE returns are subject to restocking fees of up to 15%. Any credits will be issued by check or by a credit card by KLJ within 30 days of receiving the returned merchandise. All shipping expenses are non-refundable. Refunds Refunds for returns or cores normally take 30-45 days to process from the date we or the manufacturer receive your return and accept it as a proper return. KLJ is the final decision maker as to whether a refund is to be credited. It may take longer if the core or part is received by us to then forward to the manufacturer for approval. The manufacturer will then approve the return or not. Once the return has been approved and processed, the refund will be credited to the credit card you used to buy the merchandise. You will receive “credit approved" e-mail the day you are credited. Please be aware that your bank may take 4-7 business days to post the credit to your account or credit card. If after 30 days, you have still not received a credit, please e-mail the returns department shipping@usmracer.com, for the fastest response. Risk of Loss All items purchased from our website are made pursuant to our shipping terms, which are F.O.B. shipping point. This means that risk of loss and title for such items pass to you at the shipping point which is when the carrier accepts the goods for transport. KLJ has no control over delivery perils such as strikes, weather, or war, etc. which may affect delivery schedules. Our Terms and Conditions On orders shipped overnight or 2 day, all shipping carriers reserve the right to extend delivery time by 24 hours to residential deliveries. This is beyond our control and air-shipping charges will not be refunded for this reason. Upon receiving your order, inspect all packages thoroughly for missing, damaged, or incorrect parts. Our shipping department and suppliers put forth every effort to prevent shipping damage, however it does occur occasionally. If you receive a damaged part, do not accept the package but have the shipper immediately return to sender. If the shipper has left a damaged package in your absence, immediately contact the shipper and have the package returned to sender. We are not responsible for missing, damaged, or incorrect parts after 21 business days, regardless of the party at fault. We must be contacted immediately if any of the above occurs. We are also not responsible for lost or stolen packages and all claims for such must be processed through the shipping company.
Cancellation Policy All orders are electronically processed and forwarded for shipping immediately after the order is confirmed and therefore the window of opportunity to cancel an order is limited. All orders must be canceled before you receive the Invoice - Payment accepted e-mail. No orders can be canceled after payment has been confirmed, as the order will be immediately processed for shipment. All orders placed from Friday after 5 PM EST Monday 9AM EST cannot be canceled, as they are processed over the weekend for shipment. **On all special order items there is a 25% non-refundable deposit. This will not be refunded even if the order is cancelled before the product is shipped. You will be notified prior to processing if your item is a special order. A form must be filled out and returned for you to verify your knowledge of a product being a special order item. Terms & Conditions for Sales of Products and Parts 1. All prices are subject to change without prior notice. 2. We reserve the right to correct typographical and printing errors. 3. We reserve the right to correct prices or calculation errors. 4. We reserve the right not to proceed with any order where we feel that it will put us; the recipient or any other party in a vulnerable position either financially or for any other justifiable reason. We will contact every customer placing an order to notify them of the cancellation providing a viable contact e-mail address has been given. We may not be prepared to incur extra expense other than to use e-mail to cancel such an order. Warranties All our products, except those marked "Closeout" in our listings, carry the full manufacturer's warranty. Closeout items do not carry a manufacturer warranty but may still be covered by our return policy. We sell the most recognized brands in the industry so you can buy with confidence; however like other retailers, we do not offer any product warranty of our own. We hope this information will help you in your purchase decision. Please be aware that: - Our custom product and rebuild service have 1-year unlimited mileage warranty does not apply to any racing applications. This warranty does not apply to units or components that fail due to installer and/or operator negligence, accidents, alterations of factory specifications, changes in adjustments, disassembly, inappropriate installation or failure to flush the power steering system prior to installation. - KLJ does not offer any warranty of product that not manufacture by us but we do honor the warranties provided by the manufacturer of the product. If you have a problem with a part still under the manufacturer's warranty, please contacts us and we can help arrange a return and replacement. - This summary does not include all the terms and limitations of each manufacturer's warranty. Warranties apply only to the original purchaser of the part and the vehicle on which the part was originally installed. -Terms listed apply only for parts used on a private passenger vehicle; warranties for cargo, commercial or off-road vehicles may be more limited. - Warranties offer only replacement of the defective part with another part: no cash refunds and no reimbursement of labor costs, shipping costs or other expenses. - Replacement under warranty does not extend the warranty term. - Manufacturers may change their warranty terms without notice (to you or to us). If you install a part and it doesn't work properly or doesn't last as long as it should, please contact us first, and we'll assist you in making contact with the manufacturer to file a warranty claim. Depending on the nature of the problem, the manufacturer may send a representative to examine your vehicle or ask that the part be returned to the factory for inspection. Pick up Policy You may select to pick up your merchandise at the KLJ location. You or your representative must present KLJ with a printout of your order confirmation (to be printed by you at time of purchase), have available the actual credit card used to make the purchase and have a valid photo identification. If you are unable to print the order confirmation screen at the time of purchase or have lost it prior to product pickup, the individual picking up the product must present a valid photo ID that matches our records of the information provided to make the online purchase. We reserve the right to withhold release of merchandise in circumstances where the documentation provided does not match applicable credit card information or the information provided at the time of purchase. Product not picked up within 14 days of the order will be returned to inventory and a credit for the purchase amount will then be made to the credit card used to purchase the product minus any shipping costs and/or restocking fee. We do not guarantee availability of the product after it has been returned to inventory. Also, any re-stocking charge of returning such product shall be noted on your customer record.
