A fast growing specialty automotive shop is seeking an experienced, mature Auto Mechanic to join our team. It is essential that you possess at least 5 years experience with hands on knowledge of classic, vintage vehicles such as Corvettes and Camaros, or have an extensive background working on Chevys. Knowledge of carburetors is essential.

HOURS / DAYS / SCHEDULE:

10:00 am – 6:00 pm.

Monday through Friday

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

- Experience of 5+ years plus most desirable

- Automotive skills in electrical, brakes, heating and cooling with skills in aftermarket install and fabrication of parts and accessories for classic, rod and muscle cars.

- High School Diploma or GED preferred

- Valid Driver's License (clean driving record)

- Excellent work ethic

- Attention to detail

- Ability to develop multiple proficiencies

- You must have the ability to work to deadlines and within a fast paced environment

- Must pass background check and drug test

- Must have own tools

Position:Auto Parts Sales Manager

Can you Sell Auto parts, Aftermarket parts and services?

Corvette Repair Shop is looking for a qualified Auto Parts Sales Manager for an immediate opening.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

1. Self-starter, motivated and outgoing

2. At least 2 years experience in a retail sales environment. Automotive parts experience preferred.

3. Excellent customer service skills and organizational skills

4. Detail oriented

5. Must satisfactory pass a background investigation, which includes a criminal check and verification of employment.

JOB DESCRIPTION :

1. Deals in new parts, replacement parts, accessories, and other equipment for vehicles.

2. Responsibilities will include attendence of auto show and outside sales. Building relationships with local Corvette clubs.

3. Also keep catalogs and price lists up to date. They use computer tracking to take inventory and order more parts when they are needed. Unpack and store incoming shipments and perform sales transactions as well.

4. Assists customers by determining needs and selling necessary products to complete sale. Auto parts salespeople need to answer e-mail, handle incoming calls and answer questions in a timely manner.

5. Checks in, prices and merchandises incoming product.

6. Maintain constant and fluent relationships with suppliers of the organization, with the goal of keeping up to date on new products and evaluating their incorporation to the company's business strategy.

7. Auto Parts Sales Manager must be knowledgeable when customers request products. Accurately identify specific automotive parts in catalogs that meet each customer's needs.

8. Auto Parts Sales Manager must order or suggest substitute parts to customers if the item is not in stock. Ordering sometimes requires the implementation and accurate use of measurement instruments such as calipers and micrometers.

9. Ability to analyze data, develop strategic plans, and improve financial results

10. Excellent communication skills and competitive drive.

11. Assists in store inventory. The salespeople use computer inventory systems to reorder new parts or items as needed.
